| THE CLUB The philosophy of the Florida Hard Chargers Motorcycle Club is to promote respect for Corrections Officers and non-Law Enforcement Correctional staff. It is important that members understand the perception of this concept. Our chapter is not intended to consist of only Correctional Officers and D.O.C. employees. Club members are family, friends and professionals in prospective fields who support and respect our philosophy of sense of duty, as Correctional Officers, as well as to family, friendship and the enjoyment of riding motorcycles with Hard Chargers members as well as friends of the Hard Chargers LE MC… RESPECT Hard Chargers LE MC demand respect for several reasons. Those who are appropriately informed, recognize the level of personal commitment and self-discipline that it takes to work with in the Department of Corrections. Members who wear the Hard Chargers Colors are to distinguish this same respect. Hard Chargers realize that the Club Colors are guarded and that membership has a true meaning. Our Club purpose is to promote Correctional Officers and Staff as a whole in the community and nationwide. We will always respect each other for what each of us has accomplished by being able to uphold our Colors…Respect is earned by a show of dedication and achievement within our chapter. Hard Chargers are to respect the chain of command at all times within our Club. In addition, show the same respect to other Motorcycle Clubs for the exchange mutual respect. OUR GOAL Our goal as Correctional Officers and members of the Hard Chargers LE MC is to receive recognition from the public for the sacrifices we make on a daily basis. Many of us cannot be home on holidays, are unable to be home for birthdays and parties ect.. We spend time away from our families during hurricanes or severe conditions because of our duties to our career. As we are called upon to protect and safeguard the public from the incarcerated and protect inmates from harm, when we would prefer to be home protecting our own families. It is a thankless and unacknowledged career choice but even so, members of the Hard Chargers LE MC will always conduct themselves in the highest professional manner and promote the acknowledgement of Federal, State and County Corrections… OUR COLORS Gold This color from ancient times has represented wisdom and good. Silver This color from ancient times has represented intelligence and truth. |
